This policy explains what Digital Future NH PAC ("we," "us") collects when you visit digitalfuturenh.com, sign up for the briefing list, donate, or contact us. We try to be straightforward instead of legalistic. If something is unclear, email us.

What we collect

If you join the briefing list, we collect your email address, IP address (for fraud prevention), the page you signed up from, and any UTM parameters in the URL. If you contact the PAC, we receive whatever you send.

If you donate, we collect the information legally required for campaign-finance reporting under New Hampshire RSA 664: name, mailing address, occupation and employer (above the statutory threshold), amount, and date. Payment details (card number, bank routing) are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.

When you visit any page, our servers and the third-party services described below automatically receive standard request data: IP address, user-agent (browser and device type), referring URL, timestamps, and the pages you view.

Analytics and advertising tools we use

We use third-party analytics and advertising tools to measure how the site performs and to reach voters and supporters with our message. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers, receive your IP address, and report on actions you take on the site (such as signing up or donating). They include:

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic measurement.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — ad performance and audience building on Meta platforms.
  • Other advertising pixels we may add over time (for example, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, or Google Ads) for the same purposes.
  • Email tracking — our email provider records opens and link clicks on the messages we send you.

Each of these vendors operates under its own privacy policy. We do not control how they process the data they receive once it leaves our site or email.

How to limit tracking

You can block most of this with a browser-level tracker blocker, by enabling Global Privacy Control, by adjusting ad-platform privacy settings (e.g., Meta's Off-Facebook Activity controls), or by clearing cookies. The site remains fully functional. We do not currently respond to legacy "Do Not Track" headers, but we honor opt-outs you set with the underlying ad platforms.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email or contact information to other organizations. We do not require an account to read anything published here. We do not run session-replay tools that record keystrokes, mouse movement, or screen contents.

Donor disclosure

New Hampshire campaign-finance law requires PACs to itemize and report contributions above statutory thresholds. We comply with that law. Donor information reported to the Secretary of State becomes public record. Contributions below the disclosure threshold are aggregated and reported anonymously per the statute.

Cryptocurrency contributions

BTC contributions are recorded with the contributor's identifying information (collected at the donation form), the receiving address, transaction ID, USD value at spot at time of receipt, and date. The same disclosure rules apply as to USD contributions.

Service providers

We share information with vendors that help us operate the PAC, including our hosting provider, content delivery network, donation processor, email service provider, and the analytics and advertising platforms listed above. We use only what is necessary for them to do their job, and we expect them to handle the data consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the email. You can request deletion of your contact record by emailing [email protected]. Contribution records that the PAC is required by law to retain cannot be deleted on request.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
